Quid Pro Flow began life as ‘Flovember’ - a project with which one rather stitched oneself up in trying to release a new rhyme videogramme every day for the month of November.
It was a means for me to return to a more free creative flow. I had spent many months slaving over the banjolele, trying to come up with brilliant things. But sometimes the best thing to do is not concern oneself with ‘quality’, to just start making. To free oneself to just make something rubbish.

I hope I have succeeded.

Taken from the tragedy-curtailed Flovember sessions, home recordings, bits from the Nicknackatory and tunes originated at my semi-regular School Of Chap-Hop Twitch streams, here is a selection of 21 ditties, the whole thing coming in at under 40 minutes long, brevity being the soul of wit and all that.

This is ‘roots’ Chap-Hop, in its most raw form. Just music hall samples, low fidelity beats and dandy rhymes.

The zero hours band return with more dreams for sale! This album feels angrier than their previous album, the incredible ZHB. The music is more raw and aggressive, the lyrics more venomous, and the wit is razor sharp once again. I can't fathom why they thought that sample on We Roll Shadows would work, but it does, it's genius and genuinely made me laugh out loud! 👏👏 Can't wait for the next one.
